It’s a special year for the Citroën Centre in 2012. Bold new plans will see a bigger and better display area for an array of award winning Citroën cars, an enhanced service centre and the incorporation of Citroën's new brand livery.
“As a family owned business since 1958, we are passionate about the brand and the service we offer our customers. This new and refreshed dealership is evidence of our commitment to our customers going forward”, said dealer principal Bill Bunting.

Travel a long way in a Berlingo for zero costWith the ability to travel 100 kms on just 5.8 litres of fuel while carrying up to 3.7 cubic metres of goods...
the Citroën Berlingo Long body may already be one of the most economical vans around but, with an offer of $1000 of free fuel, the Berlingo long body can now travel a long way at zero cost.
The Citroën Berlingo has established itself over two generations as the modern definition of a bonneted light van, a class invented by Citroen with the original 2CV van.
In its latest incarnation, the Berlingo is available in two versions with long and short bodies. In the long body version, which has a driveaway no more to pay price of $24,990 as well as $1000 of free fuel for a limited time, the Berlingo is able to carry a 750 kg payload and its 3.7 cubic metre load area is easily accessible through the rear barn doors or via the sliding doors on both sides. Powered by 1.6 litre 66 kW Turbo Diesel engine, it offers excellent performance regardless of the payload thanks to its 215 Nm of maximum torque.
The car-like interior offers comfort and an ideal working environment with plenty of storage spaces including over head lockers and a 12V power point for mobile phones. A high level of standard equipment includes AirCon, ABS brakes, remote central locking, power front windows, power steering, cruise control with speed limiter, CD player with controls on the steering column and Bluetooth with USB connectivity.
Hirvonen moves to Citroën!After an exceptional 2011 season with ten victories, the seventh Manufacturers' title for the Citroën Total World Rally Team... and Sebastien Loeb's eighth Drivers' title*, Citroën Racing is already turning its attention to 2012 with the arrival of a new crew for next season.
Initially contracted until December 2013, Citroën Racing has decided to finish their collaboration with Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia at the end of the 2011 season.
In 2012 and 2013, Sebastien Loeb's and Daniel Elena's team-mates will be Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen. The Finns, runners-up in the 2009 and 2011 World Championship, have scored 14 victories and 51 podium finishes in 124 starts in the WRC.
Olivier Quesnel, Citroen Racing Team Principal, comments: "Seeing Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia leave strikes a particular emotional chord in the whole team. Citroën Racing trained them, first of all in the JWRC and then in the Citroen Junior Team and the Citroën Total World Rally Team. They had a very good season with five victories and third place in the Drivers' World Championship, and they made a productive contribution to the conquest of the Manufacturers' title alongside Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena who have claimed their eighth consecutive world crown, a unique achievement in motorsport. Now, we're very happy to welcome Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen. They've been our toughest rivals over the last four seasons and we're really looking forward to our future collaboration. Mikko is a talented driver and his consistency will be a big help in our fight to retain the Manufacturers' title."
Frederic Banzet, General Manager Citroën Automobiles, said: "I'd like to take advantage of this occasion to repeat my congratulations to the whole Citroen Racing team for their 2011 titles, as well as Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena for their eighth consecutive crown. I'd also like to thank Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia for their involvement with Citroën over the last four years and the six victories they've added to its results. Today, I'd like to welcome Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen who are joining us to continue Citroën Racing's sporting adventure and its determination to score more victories starting with the 2012 Monte Carlo Rally."
The winner of each category will receive a cash prize of [euro]3,000 as well as a trip to Paris to tour Citroën's Virtual Reality Centre.
With an expanded brief, this year's competition includes three major themes in very different fields of creativity:
Citroën's Creative Awards are open to everyone and full details can be found at www.citroencreativeawards.com.
Participants have until 30 November 2011 to submit their entries, which will be judged in early December.
The winners will be selected by an international panel of judges including top magazine editors, style directors and our own British Olympic gold medal-winning sailor Iain Percy. The official awards ceremony will be held in Paris in January 2012.
The 2010 Citroën Creative Awards saw 700 entrants from over 50 countries submit a personalised DS3 roof design. The judging panel, which included senior figures from GQ, the Cartier Foundation and Louis Vuitton, selected the winning entry by Flavio Melchiorre from Italy. Flavio's design was displayed at Citroën's international showcase, C_42, on the Champs-Elysees and went into full production earlier this year.
The 2011 competition offers a rare opportunity for budding fashion designers, film makers and conceptual thinkers to have their creative work shown on the international stage.
