New Engine Range for C5

[February 2010] Citroen is starting 2010 with an all new range of engines for the Citroen C5 Sedan and Tourer which not only offer new levels of performance and fuel economy; they also meet the tough new Euro V emissions standard which means lower emissions and the ability to maintain them for longer.

C Zero

[February 2010] Zero fuel consumption, zero CO2 emissions and zero noise: with the C Zero, Citroën is broadening its compact vehicle range with a 100% electric solution. The new city car was designed to make urban mobility easier, with its compact dimensions, rapid charge, and sufficient range for day-to-day car journeys. And all this in a silence that makes occupants forget about the noise of the city. The C Zero is a real concentrate of technology and creativity that meets tomorrow's challenges today!

Having already produced more than 5,500 electric vehicles, Citroën has the experience vital to being a frontrunner in a market segment that is set to grow significantly in the coming years.

Set for launch in last-quarter 2010, the C Zero, developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, is the brand's second electric vehicle alongside Berlingo First Electric, developed with Venturi.

Citroën DS3

The exclusivity of the Citroën DS3 starts with the name; it is the first of a range of new elite models from Citroën that will be followed by the DS4 and DS5. Setting the DS3 apart from the rest of the Citroën range is its own, individual sense of style, including a ‘floating’ roof, a ‘shark fin’ that lends vigour to the waistline, and recesses on the nose housing LED lights. This unique style continues inside with an atmosphere where elegance and technology meet and marks of quality abound. The sophisticated instrumentation – with three conical dials on the cluster – driver-focused commands, low-set driving position and body-hugging seats lend a cockpit feel. Chrome trim further enhances the overall sense of vitality with luxury and distinction.  The DS3 also appeals to the senses with the HiFi System, worthy of latest-generation home systems.

Exclusivity also means a new level of personalization. The DS3 is in fact not one but a multitude of vehicles, that each owner can create to match his or her fashion. Exterior personalisation components include the roof, body, rearview mirror housings and wheels. Inside, customers get a choice of dashboard strip, gearstick knob and a host of other interior equipment with a panoply of colours, fabrics and materials. And for the ultimate in bespoke motoring, customers can select from seven innovative personalisation themes reflecting different trends and lifestyles. The DS3 is a highly personal and categorically singular vehicle.

The Citroën DS3 is expected in Australia in 2010.

New Citroën C3

The Citroën C3, driven by its unique styling and excellent performance and economy has, with sales of more than two million, been one of the most successful cars produced by the French car maker, but it challenged Citroën to produce a new C3 that will maintain the car marker’s reputation for advanced technology and style.

Just two elements of the new C3 illustrate that Citroen has, once again, moved the goal posts in the small car sector. Zenith, the unique windscreen that blends into the roof and which was pioneered on the Citroën C4 Picasso, is now available in the small car sector for the first time. Under bonnet, the new C3 will become available with a new range of three cylinder diesel engines that will offer market leading fuel economy and carbon dioxide emissions as low as 90 g/km.  But these are just the start of the innovations in styling, technology, equipment and weight saving offering by the new Citroën C3.

It’s a winning formula: take the best of the C3 and make it even better. The new C3 is packed with seductive features: tauter styling, high-class trim, intelligent architecture creating exceptional interior space in what is still one of the most compact vehicles on the market, and superior on-board comfort and road handling, both in the city and on the open road. With the most advanced features in the segment, the new Citroën C3 will be ideal as the main family car or core fleet vehicle.  But that’s not all. The Zenith windscreen makes the new C3 unique. As well as drenching the cabin in light and expanding visibility, this windscreen introduces passengers of the C3 to a new driving experience.

The new Citroën C3 is expected in Australia in early 2010.

All New C4

The New C4 has undergone a dynamic upgrade with a restyled exterior, a new engine range, enhanced interior and several new technology features. Australia’s most successful and most loved Citroën, just got better. The dynamic redesigned front end styling and integrated chevron grille is familiar, yet instantly fresher and more appealing.

On the inside the feeling of quality has been enhanced with new trim materials, adjustments to the cockpit layout, and new interactive features for driving convenience and enjoyment. Under the bonnet, 2 new petrol engines (1.6L and the 1.6L Turbo) have been introduced to join the 1.6L and 2.0L Diesel engines, delivering more on-road pleasure with significantly reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

This is a car that is instantly sporty yet reassuring, refined yet dynamic.
